Shock Horror Magazine is the brainchild of a small group of horror fans, united by a love of all things dark, trashy and horror themed. With varied talents and tastes our team is a select bunch of freaks, and together we stumble into the night like zombies seeking out brains in search of the newest horror fodder....

Dean Boor

Shat straight from the arse of Frankenstein Dean is the creator of Shock Horror Magazine and prides himself on being a metal loving geek of epic proportions. Having worked for a previous worldwide Horror rag Dean has his name and review quotes graced on numerous UK DVD titles. Dean enjoys the nerdy things in life such as hours spent watching horror films and reading Zombie comics that include 'Marvel Zombies' and Robert Kirkman's 'The Walking Dead'. Favourite films include The Thing, Nightmare On Elm Street, Evil Dead and The Nightmare Before Christmas to name a few. Fuelled by Jack Daniels.

Jason Miller

Jason is obsessed with horror, mostly trashy stuff from the 1980's, faves include; Return of the Living Dead, Friday the 13th part VII and Night of the Demons! When it comes to reading his tastes haven't really grown up as he still mainly reads comic books, his fave being the Walking Dead. Jason loves producing artwork, either digitally or by hand, he also can often be seen with a camera in front of his face! In his spare time his favourite things to do include drinking beer, watching grown men wrestle about in spandex, and listening to dirty metal and music from the deep south!

Sian Boor

Sian is testament to the fact that not all horror fans are smelly boys drooling over big boobed scream queens getting slaughtered on screen, some girls do too! Some of her favourite films include Ginger Snaps, Idle Hands and Scream. In the theme of keeping this page reading like alcoholics anonymous Sian's drink of choice is Jager, great big fookin' jugs of Jager!

Mark Smith

Bottle-fed on a diet of 'Hammer films' and 'Pan books of horror stories', Mark didn't stand a chance from the word go. A lifelong horror fan for over three decades he enjoys everything from Nosferatu to the present. His favourite films are The Exorcist, The Haunting (1963), The Thing (John Carpenter), [REC] and The Wicker Man (1973).
He is a graphic designer and a Goth. He drinks far too much and enjoys spending his free time in alleged haunted locations looking for spooks, although he has had little success so far.
